Overview

Active, end-to-end testing measures service quality the way customers experience it — by actually placing calls, sending messages, streaming video and running data sessions, then scoring the results with industry methods. It catches problems passive monitoring misses, because it exercises the whole service chain from device to destination.

Driven centrally by the XMASS platform and executed by field probes, active testing runs continuously and unattended across mobile and fixed networks, feeding live quality data into monitoring, alarming and reporting.

What it does

PIXIP probes place real calls, send real messages and run real data sessions across your network, then score quality using recognised methods (POLQA, PESQ and MOS for voice; PEVQ for video). One platform covers voice, video, messaging, data, portals and value-added services.
