Overview

XRate is a flexible framework for the mediation and rating (pricing) of usage events in a telecommunications environment. It applies equally to real-time and batch scenarios in which large volumes of events must be processed at high performance, collecting, normalising, correlating and pricing events from heterogeneous network sources.

By delivering accurate, billing-ready data to downstream systems — and supporting reconciliation against mediation, rating and billing records — XRate underpins revenue assurance: detecting mis-rating, dropped records and configuration errors before they reach the customer or the regulator, and protecting operator margins.

What it does

XRate collects CDRs, reconstructs your rating plans — including peak/off-peak, bundles and special offers — and re-rates events in real time or in batch, then reconciles the result against your billing system to surface discrepancies.
