SIM-Server — any SIM, in any probe, at any time

The SIM-Server centralises your SIMs so probes can use them remotely — essential for roaming tests where you can't put a physical SIM in every probe.

SIM-Server — any SIM, in any probe, at any time

Overview

The PIXIP.NET SIM-Server provides probes with remote SIM access through SIM multiplexing. Rather than physically distributing SIM cards to every probe in the field, the SIM-Server holds them centrally and makes them available over the network to any probe that needs them.

This is the backbone of remote roaming testing with XRoam: you can run tests as though a subscriber were present in a given network — without shipping SIMs or staff abroad — and reassign SIMs to scenarios on demand. The result is dramatically reduced logistics, faster test setup and far better utilisation of every SIM in your inventory.

Highlights

  • Remote SIM access / SIM multiplexing across your probe estate.
  • Hot-pluggable SIM boards; capacities of 32, 224 or 416 SIMs per server.
  • Unlimited servers — manage thousands of SIMs centrally.
  • XMASS assigns a SIM to a probe only for the duration of a test, then releases it.
