Overview
PUX is PIXIP.NET's high-capacity measurement probe — a ready-to-use, plug-and-play system that simulates many subscribers and their handsets simultaneously under real network conditions. From a single rugged 19-inch unit it measures the performance and availability of networks, services and applications across mobile (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) and fixed (LAN, DSL) networks, covering voice, data, messaging and multimedia services.
Built on an industrial CompactPCI design with hot-pluggable modem boards, PUX is engineered for distributed, always-on testing. Scenarios created once in the web-based environment are reusable across every probe in your estate; tests run unattended, store results locally and upload them automatically to the central server. A multi-level watchdog and remote management over LAN or over-the-air (SMS) keep on-site administration close to zero.
Highlights
- 2 to 20 channels; simulates up to 20 handsets simultaneously.
- Mobile (2G–5G) and fixed (LAN, DSL) testing from the same unit.
